Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park (Seronera) – Into the Wild

Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Zanzibar to Seronera Airstrip in central Serengeti. As your aircraft descends, you’ll witness the vast, untamed plains stretching endlessly beneath you. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will be waiting to welcome you for a full afternoon game drive. Expect your first sightings of giraffes grazing under acacia trees, lions lounging in the golden grass, and herds of wildebeest stretching to the horizon.
After your safari, you’ll retire to your intimate tented camp surrounded by the serenity of the bush.

Day 2: Full-Day Exploration of the Serengeti

Today, venture deeper into the Serengeti’s diverse regions—north, south, east or west—based on the best wildlife sightings. Your expert guide will tailor the day’s route to follow seasonal movements of animals and help you track the Big Five and more. From elephants to elusive leopards and cheetahs sprinting across open plains, each moment is tailored for wild wonder. You’ll return to camp as the sun sets across the savannah.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands – Scenic Transition

After an early wake-up, enjoy a morning game drive as the sun rises over the Serengeti. This is one of the best times to witness predators on the hunt and catch peaceful moments as the park stirs to life. Later in the day, journey out of Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy more wildlife sightings before reaching the lush highlands of Karatu where your lodge awaits at the edge of the crater’s rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Africa’s Eden → Mto wa Mbu

After a restful night, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—an ancient caldera brimming with wildlife and one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. With its permanent water supply and fertile plains, the crater offers one of the best opportunities to spot Africa’s Big Five in one place. You’ll explore the lake shores where flamingos gather, the forested edges frequented by elephants, and grassy plains home to rhinos, lions and hyenas. After your crater adventure, continue to the colourful village of Mto wa Mbu for a relaxed evening surrounded by local charm.
